Precedence Health Care Pty Ltd (Precedence Health Care) was established in Australia in 2007 with the objective of transforming the care of chronically ill people. Through the use of advanced broadband, mobile, and information technologies, we aim to improve the quality and safety of care, increase the efficiency of the health system, provide more equitable access to care, and increase the quality of life for those suffering chronic illness.

Leadership

We aim to be the leaders in providing solutions for the prevention and management of chronic disease.

To this end, we have developed a world-first chronic disease management network, cdmNet, accessible anywhere, anytime via broadband and mobile services. cdmNet provides the ability – for the first time – to deliver effective best-practice treatment to a practice’s entire population of chronically ill patients.

The Precedence team

Our team includes developers with a high level of technical expertise in web and mobile technologies and experts in artificial intelligence and knowledge management.

Our solutions are supported by business analysts and project managers with experience in designing and implementing online collaboration for health care and with general practice systems.

Clinicians with strong communications skills and an understanding of the issues faced by their colleagues provide additional support for our change and adoption activities.

Precedence Health Care is led by an outstanding executive team, with broad international experience in business, advanced information technology and health care.

Jon Hilton, Precedence Health Care’s recent Director of Programs, passed away in July 2013.  Jon was an exceptional person who had an extraordinary vision for a health care system enabled by internet and mobile technologies. He was a major contributor to the design and implementation of the cdmNet chronic disease management service and championed its adoption across Australia.
