Thanks to the amazing work of the Movember Foundation, November is now a time where communities all over Australia come together to support men’s health.

At Precedence Health Care, we are proud to tell you about our partnership with Movember.

Movember is running an initiative called TrueNTH – a support service for men who have recently been diagnosed with prostate cancer.

Dealing with illness can be complicated. There are appointments to make and keep, medications to manage, and advice from different specialists on how to best manage health. This is a lot to keep track of, especially at a time when patients’ minds can be easily distracted by other worries. That’s where the TrueNTH Care Plan and Inca comes in.

TrueNTH connects these men with skilled cancer care coordinators who communicate with the patient’s specialists and help them navigate their journey and support them on the road to recovery.

Men who are a part of the TrueNTH program can view their TrueNTH Care Plan online using the Inca Platform. Specialists can also use Inca to communicate with members of their Care Team, updating them on the patient’s progress. The Care Coordinator is notified as new information is posted, so any problems are addressed in a timely manner.

The service uses Inca to assist the TrueNTH coordination services using a prostate cancer management plan that was developed specifically as a codesign piece between Movember and Precedence Health Care.

TrueNTH have access to skilled prostate cancer care coordinators, and the Inca platform allows the care team to keep an eye on how patients are travelling through their prostate cancer journey.
