Our services have adapted to meet the needs of all our customers

Why has Precedence introduced new services?

Since Precedence was formed over a decade ago, the users of cdmNet have grown to cover a wide range of healthcare stakeholders, including front-line service providers, patients, and large healthcare enterprises.

To support all these users, our core product offering, cdmNet, has evolved from a simple care planning tool to a comprehensive coordinated care platform supporting a wide range of services.

This system now covers all models of care from traditional practice to the full patient-centred medical home and services a large variety of different user needs.

To cater for these diverse needs, we have now segmented cdmNet into five integrated service offerings.

What are the new services?

The new services provide all the features of the original cdmNet product but are segmented into different functional groups to allow users to select the services that best meet their needs.

cdmNet Connectivity services provide the connectivity features and shared electronic health record that allow the care team and patient to communicate and collaborate closely with one another.

cdmNet Care Planning services provide care planning, review and assessment capabilities, including the workflows necessary for managing MBS CDM Items.

cdmNet Care Navigation services provide the functionality for coordinating and managing the care of large populations and cohorts including service budgeting and appointment tracking, as well as important payer-support functions.

In addition, Precedence has introduced two new products to support other healthcare needs.

PracticeProfiler allows users to identify, analyse and risk stratify large practice populations and to effectively assess their needs at the point of care.

MediTracker gives patients direct access to their summary medical record and enables them to collaborate closely with a tightly coupled care team of their choosing, either via a web portal or mobile device.

What is different?

If you are an existing user of cdmNet, you will notice we have upgraded cdmNet to make it easier to use. Depending on your role, you may also find that cdmNet is configured differently to better suit your needs. But otherwise, your use of cdmNet services will largely remain unchanged.

If you are new to cdmNet, your requirements will determine the cdmNet services you receive and the way in which cdmNet is configured. It will make it easier for you to make sure the cdmNet platform and its services best meets your needs.

Overall, we hope that the segmentation of services will allow users to better understand the extensive range of capabilities supported by the cdmNet platform and make these features less complex to use.

Helping you manage the transformation of health care.

Over the last ten years, the role of health care providers has changed from treating acute episodes of care to where half of GP visits involve patients with chronic conditions and complex long-term needs.

How to manage this shift is one of the greatest challenges facing medical practice today.

As a leader in digital health, Precedence aims to continuously develop and improve its technologies and products to help meet this challenge.

We realise that technology alone is not the solution and that many changes must take place if we are to be successful. In this process of transformation, we are dedicated to work closely with front-line healthcare providers, patients, and other stakeholders to help support their real needs.
