Assisting reform

Australian primary health care reform is placing new demands upon health professionals in the provision of integrated patient care. General Practitioners in particular are experiencing huge changes in roles and responsibilities as they move from solo and small group practices to working in team environments.

Precedence Health Care works with leading educational and training institutions to assist care providers understand and manage these changes.

Partners in education

Monash and Deakin Universities are working with us to develop a unique environment for developing best practice educational systems to train medical practitioners in communication, collaboration and leadership skills, recognised as being among the core competencies for improving patient safety and quality of care.

Precedence Health Care is also working with General Practice Victoria and the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners to develop programs and training services for practitioners in primary care and preventative health.
